Māori elders: Kaumātua are held in high esteem and have many important roles, including preserving traditions and knowledge, providing leadership, and nurturing the younger generations.
Fox Valley Rugby Kaumātua represent the backbone for the Fox Valley Rugby organization and the ones that paved the way for our young ones and most continue to play for the love of the game.

The Fox Valley Māori Rugby Football Club is a Division II Men’s club located in the heart of the Fox Valley area in St. Charles, IL. The club is affiliated with USA Rugby, Midwest Rugby Football Union, and Chicago Area Rugby Football Union (CARFU). Established in the Spring of 1975, Fox Valley Rugby is one of the areas oldest rugby clubs. For 45-years the club has provided and promoted the sport of rugby and continues to do so today.
